Welcome to the Official Site for Jennylind Parris!

Jennylind Parris is a versatile singer, comedienne, and actress having performed in over 20 states across the country. She has done a multitude of musicals; including such favorites as “42nd Street” “All Shook Up”, “I Love a Piano”, and “Cinderella”. In addition to Musical Theatre; she also has a great gifting for Country, Pop/R&B, and Contemporary Christian music. She has been referred to by critics not only as “hilarious” “a hoot”, and “farcically funny”; but also a “gifted singer and actress with grace, ease, and style”. One of her greatest attributes is her love for people and she aims to fuse people with joy and love where ever she goes.

What people are saying:

Chatham Currier "Swingtime Canteen" review:
As Marian, Parris is far and away the best thing on the stage. She understands the show, the role, and the humor, and as a result delivers some of Busch’s funniest lines to great effect.

Sherri Rase "A Woman of Character"
Parris, like Swedish Nightingale Jenny Lind for whom she’s named, has a clear soprano voice that navigates the shoals of songs easily and well....Parris' talent is is burnished to a gleaming brilliance.

Mark Gonzalez "I Love a Piano"
Besides giving a marvelous performance in a challenging role, she showed up prepared, gave her all to the production, and exhibited the type of continuously giving spirit that brought our entire cast closer together. I believe through her combination of performance and personality she does make the world a better place.

In November I made my New York City solo debut in A Woman of Character: A Tribute To The Incomparable Carol Burnett. After a successful run at the Metropolitan Room we just finished a one-night only encore performance at Don't Tell Mama in Times Square. We are currently looking to book anywhere around the country. Take a look at this promotional video and forward it to any theater/clubs you may know!
